# Create a Token (Card)

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.tap.company/v2/tokens`
- URL: `https://api.tap.company/v2/tokens/`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

This endpoint creates a single-use token that securely contains the details of a credit card.

## Request body

- object
  - `card` object: Card object. Ensure that your business account has the access to use this API.
    - `number` integer: Credit card number
    - `exp_month` integer: Two -digit number, representing month
    - `exp_year` integer: Last two digits of the expiration year
    - `cvc` integer: Card verification code
    - `name` string: Card holder Name
    - `address` object: Address
      - `country` string: County
      - `line1` string: Address Line 1
      - `city` string: City
      - `street` string: Street
      - `avenue` string: Avenue
  - `client_ip` string: The IP Address of the client.
