# Register Start

`POST /v1/passkeys/register/start`

Begin passkey registration for the authenticated handle.

Returns publicKeyCredentialCreationOptions for
navigator.credentials.create(). Client prompts the user to add a
passkey (Face ID etc), then posts the result back to /register/finish.
