# Get Messages

`GET /v1/messages`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.tandem-cc.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://www.tandem-cc.com/v1/messages`
- Auth: none declared

Return messages addressed to `handle` (or sent by it) with
sent_at > `since`. Used by TandemApiTransport.sync() and eventually
by MCP read_inbox / list_threads tools.

Auth scopes:
  - admin (X-Tandem-Api-Key): can query for any handle.
  - bearer (Authorization: Bearer <token>): can ONLY query for the
    handle the token is bound to. Prevents reading other users' mail.

## Query parameters

- `for` string, required: Handle to fetch messages for
- `since` string, nullable: ISO 8601 timestamp; returns messages sent_at > this
- `limit` integer

## Headers

- `X-Tandem-Api-Key` string, nullable
- `Authorization` string, nullable
