# Edit current bot info

`PATCH /me`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://botapi.tamtam.chat`
- URL: `https://botapi.tamtam.chat/me`
- Auth: API key in query parameter `access_token`

Edits current bot info. Fill only the fields you want to update. All remaining fields will stay untouched

## Request body

- BotPatch
  - `name` string, nullable: Visible name of bot
  - `description` string, nullable: Bot description up to 16k characters long
  - `commands` BotCommand[], nullable: Commands supported by bot. Pass empty list if you want to remove commands
    - `name` string, required: Command name
    - `description` string, nullable: Optional command description
  - `photo` PhotoAttachmentRequestPayload: Request to attach image. All fields are mutually exclusive
    - `url` string, nullable: Any external image URL you want to attach
    - `token` string, nullable: Token of any existing attachment
    - `photos` object, nullable: Tokens were obtained after uploading images

## Response `200`

Modified bot info

- BotInfo
  - `user_id` integer, required: Users identifier
  - `name` string, required: Users visible name
  - `username` string, nullable, required: Unique public user name. Can be `null` if user is not accessible or it is not set
  - `is_bot` boolean, required: `true` if user is bot
  - `last_activity_time` integer, required: Time of last user activity in TamTam (Unix timestamp in milliseconds). Can be outdated if user disabled its "online" status in settings
  - `description` string, nullable: User description. Can be `null` if user did not fill it out
  - `avatar_url` string: URL of avatar
  - `full_avatar_url` string: URL of avatar of a bigger size
  - `commands` BotCommand[], nullable: Commands supported by bot
    - `name` string, required: Command name
    - `description` string, nullable: Optional command description

## Other responses

- `401`: Authorization Error. No `access_token` provided or token is invalid
- `500`: Internal Server Error
