# Capture Order

`POST /payments/capture`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api-sandbox.tamara.co`
- URL: `https://api-sandbox.tamara.co/payments/capture`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

This endpoint is requested to perform a full or partial capture of the order, confirming the fulfillment or shipment of the items to the customer. The order status value will be `fully_captured` or `partially_captured` based on the total amount value sent in the request.

## Request body

- object
  - `order_id` string, uuid, required: Unique Tamara `order_id`, obtained from the response of create checkout/in-store checkout session endpoint.
  - `total_amount` object, required: Total amount to be captured out of the original order total.
    - `amount` number
    - `currency` 'SAR' | 'AED' | 'BHD' | 'KWD' | 'OMR'
  - `shipping_info` object, required
    - `shipped_at` string, required: <date-time>
    - `shipping_company` string, required: Name of the shipping company. Limited to 100 characters.
    - `tracking_number` string: Tracking number of shipment. Limited to 100 characters.
    - `tracking_url` string, uri: URL where the customer can track their shipment. `<=1024 characters`.
  - `items` object[]
    - `name` string, required: Product name. `<=255 characters`.
    - `quantity` number, required: The quantity being fulfilled for this specific item.
    - `reference_id` string, required: The unique id of the item from merchant's side
    - `sku` string, required: Product SKU. **`<= 128 characters`**
    - `item_url` string, uri: URL of the item from merchant's website. **`<= 1024 characters`**
    - `image_url` string, uri: URL to an image of the product that can be later displayed to the customer. **`<= 1024 characters`** <br /> **Size** = 2-3 MB maximum <br /> **Resolution** WxH = 1024xY (the Y height of image should be small).
