# Check Payment Options Availability

`POST /checkout/payment-options-pre-check`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api-sandbox.tamara.co`
- URL: `https://api-sandbox.tamara.co/checkout/payment-options-pre-check`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

This endpoint is requested for online checkout integration during the pre-checkout phase, providing available payment options offered by **Tamara** based on the customer's eligibility and the given order value.

## Request body

- object
  - `country` 'SA' | 'AE' | 'BH' | 'KW' | 'OM', required: The unique ISO country code for the country that the merchant is located in
  - `phone_number` string, required: The customer's phone number.
  - `order_value` object, required
    - `amount` number: The exact format depends on the currency. By default we support 2 decimals, but for BHD, KWD and OMR we support 3 decimals.
    - `currency` 'SAR' | 'AED' | 'BHD' | 'KWD' | 'OMR': The three-letter ISO currency code
  - `is_vip` boolean: Consider if customer is VIP at merchant's side while fetching payment options
