# Omnisearch across documents, fields, and schemas

`GET /v1/search`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.talonic.com`
- URL: `https://api.talonic.com/v1/search`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Full-text search that returns multiple result collections in a single
response: matching documents, field matches, sources, schemas, and
fields.

## Query parameters

- `q` string, required
- `limit` integer

## Response `200`

Search results across all searchable entity types.

- SearchResponse: Multi-collection search result. Empty arrays are returned for any collection with no matches; empty queries return all empty arrays.
  - `documents` object[]
  - `fieldMatches` object[]
  - `sources` object[]
  - `schemas` object[]
  - `fields` object[]

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `429`: Daily rate limit exceeded.
