# Assign a review record to a user

`POST /v1/review/{id}/assign`

## Request

Set the assignee on a single review record. Pass `user_id: null` to unassign.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

  - `user_id` string, uuid, nullable, required: User ID of the assignee, or `null` to unassign.

## Response `200`

Record assigned.

- `400`: The request is invalid.
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `404`: The requested resource was not found.
- `429`: Daily rate limit exceeded.
