# Compile pending sentence cards into executable rule interpretations

`POST /v1/apps/{id}/logic/compile`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.talonic.com`

Grounds each pending rule sentence in the app's bound fields and saves the updated draft. A rule that cannot be grounded stays pending with a warning; the compiler never invents fields or thresholds.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- object
  - `card_ids` string[]: Compile only these cards; absent compiles every pending card.
  - `locale` string: UI locale (e.g. de) — compile reasons and readbacks come back in this language.

## Response `200`

The draft's cards after compilation, plus warnings for anything left pending.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `409`: The app has no draft version.
- `502`: The rule compiler is unavailable; retryable.
