# Revoke an API key

`DELETE /v1/account/keys/{keyId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.talonic.com`
- URL: `https://api.talonic.com/v1/account/keys/{keyId}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Revokes (deactivates) a key belonging to the caller's customer.
Cross-tenant revocation is impossible — a key not owned by the caller's
customer returns 404. Requires the `write` scope.

## Path parameters

- `keyId` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

Key revoked.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `403`: The API key does not have the required scope.
- `404`: The requested resource was not found.
- `429`: Daily rate limit exceeded.
