# Create a ticket

`POST /api/v1/board/tickets`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Files a ticket at the top of a column, or at the bottom of the backlog. `description` is markdown. Omitting `column` files it in the backlog. The ticket is assigned to the token's user, or left unassigned when that user is a board-only client. The assigned key is returned. Requires the `board:write` scope.
