# Comment on a ticket

`POST /api/v1/board/tickets/{key}/comments`

## Request

Adds a markdown comment. Comments are append-only — use one to record a decision or a finding rather than editing somebody else's description. Requires the `board:write` scope.

- `401`: Missing or invalid token
- `403`: Token lacks the required scope, or the account has no active plan
