# Remove a user from a conversation

`DELETE /v1/{appId}/conversations/{conversationId}/participants/{userId}`

## Request

Removes a participant from a conversation. If a participant is removed from a conversation, they won't have access to new messages sent to the conversation, and are no longer listed as a participant in the conversation.

The operation to remove a participant is idempotent and can be called multiple times in a row.
