# Add a document to a candidate - Deprecated, use /0/candidates/{id}/documents endpoint instead

`POST /0/documents`

- Auth: API key in header `X-taleez-api-secret`

<b><u>This endpoint is deprecated</u> and will be remove in a future version. Use /0/candidates/{id}/documents endpoint instead.</b></u><br/><br/>Use this endpoint to add a document to an existing candidate.<br/><b>If the document already exists for the candidate (same content), the name is updated and only one document will appear in the candidate card in Taleez.</b><br/>Supported file formats : pdf, doc, docx, rtf, odt, jpeg, png, pages.

## Query parameters

- `candidateId` integer, required
- `cv` boolean, required

## Response `201`

Return the id of the created document, or the id of the existing document if document already exists for this candidate

## Other responses

- `400`: Something's wrong with your request, additional info will be provided in error message
