# Escalate a task to the Founder

`POST /v1/tasks/{id}/escalate`

## Request

Requires tasks capability. Own cards on tasks, any card with task:assign. The card must have a current assignee; reason required (max 500 chars). Raising never unassigns the holder. Archived, done, and already-flagged cards refuse; the flag auto-clears on done, archive, and assignee change.
