# The workspace's cast

`GET /v1/cast`

Every actor Tada plays in this workspace: `{ id, name, title, character, voice, first, inactive, roles }`, oldest first. An entry is always an actor, never a role or a sign-in: a role no person gave to an actor is the first actor's, and so is a sign-in whose label has no role yet (`implied` on its entry in `plays`). `inactive` is switched off: no checks, not counted in the plan. `roles` counts the roles they hold across every app, and `plays` lists each with its app and, per environment, `{ state, lastWorkedAt, needs, address, offered }`: whether its login gets in, when it last did, what a person can do, the address to invite, and with `a_person` which sign-in the app showed (`microsoft`, `google`, `github`, `apple`, `sso`, `passkey`, `authenticator`, `sms`; empty when not known). `first` is the actor every workspace starts with, answered again on its own beside `data`.
