# Have an actor play a role

`PUT /v1/apps/{app}/cast/{actor}/roles/{role}`

## Request

This actor plays this role, with the same name, character and voice as their other roles. A new role joins them; a role somebody else played MOVES to them, with its routines and its logins (an actor left with no role is no longer in the cast). `login` gives the role its login here, as on `POST /cast`. Saying it twice changes nothing.
