# Take an actor out of the cast

`DELETE /v1/apps/{app}/cast/{actor}`

204. Their roles in this app are gone from every list and every check at once. An actor left with no role in any app is gone from the workspace's cast too. 409 `first_actor_stays` for the first actor: a workspace always has one. ⚠ No login is deleted, and nothing changes inside your app.
