# Stream scan progress

`GET /api/v1/scans/{scan_id}/stream`

## Request

A Server-Sent Events stream emitting a `status` event on each transition and a
final `done` event when the scan finishes.

The connection closes with a `timeout` event after five minutes, so treat this as
a fast path and keep polling as the fallback for long scans.
