# Delete a scan

`DELETE /api/v1/scans/{scan_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.sytecheck.app` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.sytecheck.app/api/v1/scans/{scan_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Delete a scan. It disappears from every listing immediately and its stored
results and screenshots are removed permanently after a short grace period.

**Deleting does not restore quota.** A scan that ran has already been paid for.
