# Ingest Business Event

`POST /ingest/events`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://synchronex.ai/api/v1`
- URL: `https://synchronex.ai/api/v1/ingest/events`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer
  - OAuth 2 (authorization code, authorization URL `https://synchronex.ai/oauth/authorize`, token URL `https://synchronex.ai/api/oauth/token`, scopes: `read`)

Accepts event-shaped business data using a hashed `sx_ingest_*` key. `kpi.snapshot` events also attempt the KPI snapshot fast path.

  - `event_type` string, required
  - `severity` 'info' | 'warning' | 'error' | 'critical'
  - `external_id` string
  - `idempotency_key` string
  - `occurred_at` string, date-time
  - `worker_type` string
  - `payload` object

## Response `200`

Event ingested.

- IngestResponse
  - `success` boolean, required
  - `event_id` string, uuid, nullable
  - `dataset_id` string, uuid
  - `inserted` integer
  - `deduplicated` boolean

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation error. The request body or query string is invalid.
- `401`: Unauthorized. Missing, malformed, expired, or revoked bearer token.
- `403`: Forbidden. The token scope or account tier is insufficient.
- `422`: Semantic validation failed.
- `500`: Internal server error.
