# Ingest Project Signal

`POST /ingest/{project_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://synchronex.ai/api/v1`

  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer
  - OAuth 2 (authorization code, authorization URL `https://synchronex.ai/oauth/authorize`, token URL `https://synchronex.ai/api/oauth/token`, scopes: `read`)

Ingests a project signal from a native webhook, MCP tool, or HMAC-signed REST client. Use X-Synchronex-Signature and X-Synchronex-Timestamp for signed REST ingestion.

  - `event_type` string, required
  - `title` string, required
  - `severity` 'info' | 'warning' | 'error'
  - `body` object
  - `external_id` string: Idempotency key from the source system.

## Response `200`

Signal accepted or idempotent duplicate acknowledged.

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation error. The request body or query string is invalid.
- `401`: Unauthorized. Missing, malformed, expired, or revoked bearer token.
- `403`: Forbidden. The token scope or account tier is insufficient.
- `404`: Not found or not owned by the authenticated user.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. Retry after the indicated reset time.
- `500`: Internal server error.
