# Say what you know first-hand about a factor for an option

`POST /workspaces/{id}/questions/{questionId}/frontier/own-answers`

## Request

From your own experience, standing as yours. Where the option has no answer a person accepted, it becomes the option’s answer, sourced to you; where it has one, it replaces nothing and goes on the claim behind it as your own evidence — refused where no claim establishes it. Only a person, as themselves, in the workspace.

  - `dimensionId` string, uuid, required: The factor.
  - `statement` string, required: What the person knows first-hand.
  - `stance` 'supports' | 'contradicts' | 'qualifies': Which way it points — needed only where the option already has an accepted answer, when it goes on the claim behind it.

## Other responses

- `401`: No token, or not a valid one: `unauthorized`.
- `403`: Only a person, as themselves.
- `404`: No such question, option or factor.
- `409`: `answer_exists`: a person accepted an answer and no claim establishes it — say what is wrong with it instead.
- `422`: Nothing said, or — over an accepted answer — which way it points not said.
