# Have SwingFactor draft the question

`POST /workspaces/{id}/questions/{questionId}/drafts`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.swingfactor.ai/v1`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Follow it, and stop it, as one of the workspace’s runs: `GET /workspaces/{id}/runs?kind=draft&subject={questionId}`.

## Request body

- DraftStartBody
  - `focus` 'requests' | 'null', nullable: requests: only what people asked for — open changes asked on challenges, and find-out requests. Absent: a whole draft.

## Response `202`

Queued — or, focused on requests while a draft runs, waiting: the requests stay open for the next.

- DraftStarted
  - `id` string, uuid, required
  - `status` string, required: queued — or, focused on requests while a draft runs, waiting.
  - `note` string: Where nothing new started: what happens instead.

## Other responses

- `400`: `run_running`: one is running already; `plan_limit`: the plan does not draft; `question_incomplete`: the question is still being asked; `nothing_requested`: focused on requests, with none open.
- `401`: No token, or not a valid one: `unauthorized`.
- `403`: You cannot change this workspace.
- `503`: No model is configured.
