# Download the sealed PDF or Certificate of Completion

`GET /api/v1/envelopes/{id}/download`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://swiftsign.ca`
- URL: `https://swiftsign.ca/api/v1/envelopes/{id}/download`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns the sealed document (or the Certificate of Completion when certificate=true) for a COMPLETED envelope. Authenticate with the Bearer API key (envelopes:read) or a recipient signing token via ?token.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Query parameters

- `doc` integer, nullable: Document index to download (default 0).
- `certificate` 'true' | 'false': If "true", download the Certificate of Completion instead of the document.
- `token` string: Recipient signing token, as an alternative to the API key.

## Response `200`

The sealed PDF (application/pdf).

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid document index.
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key or signing token.
- `404`: Envelope, document, or sealed file not found.
- `409`: Envelope is not COMPLETED yet.
