# Delete Revision

`POST /api/mcp/delete_revision`

Delete a specific revision of a chapter.

Remaining revisions are renumbered sequentially from 1 (with
matching `v0`, `v1`, … labels). The original chapter text — the
baseline before any revisions — is never deletable through this
path. Irreversible.

## Request body

- DeleteRevisionInput
  - `job_id` string, required: The story job ID.
  - `chapter` integer, required
  - `revision` integer, required: Revision number to delete (cannot delete revision 1 / original).

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- GenericToolResponse: Fallback for tools whose payload is still being tightened.
