# Delete an activity

`DELETE /activities/{activityId}`

## Request

Permanently deletes an activity record, with its replies and reactions.

**Authorization.** The caller must be able to access the activity's parent entity and hold the `<entity>:delete_my_items` user permission for its type (`meetings`, `leads`, `workflows`, `employers` or `customers`). Deleting an activity created by another user additionally requires `<entity>:delete_all_items`. No OAuth2 scope beyond a valid token is required.

**Side effects.** Publishes an `ActivityDeleted` event. Returns `200 OK` with an empty body (not `204`).

**Errors.** `404` if the activity does not exist in the caller's tenant; `400` with error code `40000` if the caller lacks the required delete permission or cannot access the parent entity.

## Other responses

- `400`: (error code 40000) Missing delete permission, or the parent entity is not accessible
- `404`: Activity not found
