# Get Survey Custom Responses

`GET /v2/surveys/{id}/custom-responses`

Returns custom 'Other' responses for this survey, optionally filtered by paywall. Requires surveys:read scope.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required — Survey ID

## Query parameters

- `paywall_id` string — Filter by paywall ID

## Response `200`

Success

- object
  - `object` 'survey_custom_responses', required — Object type, always `survey_custom_responses`
  - `data` object[], required — List of custom responses
    - `count` number, required — Number of times this response was given
    - `custom_response` string, required — The custom response text

## Other responses

- `400` — The request did not match the expected schema
- `401` — No API key was provided in the request
- `403` — The API key does not have permission to perform this action
- `404` — The requested resource was not found
- `429` — Too many requests have been made in a short period
- `500` — An unexpected error occurred on the server
