# Remove Application from Project

`POST /v2/projects/{id}/applications/remove`

Removes an existing application association from a project. Requires projects:write and applications:write scope.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required — Project ID

## Request body

- object
  - `application_id` string, required — Application ID to add/remove

## Response `200`

Success

- object
  - `object` 'project_application_association', required — Object type, always `project_application_association`
  - `project_id` string, required — Project ID
  - `application_id` string, required — Application ID
  - `associated` boolean, required — Whether the application is now associated with the project

## Other responses

- `400` — The request did not match the expected schema
- `401` — No API key was provided in the request
- `403` — The API key does not have permission to perform this action
- `404` — The requested resource was not found
- `429` — Too many requests have been made in a short period
- `500` — An unexpected error occurred on the server
