# List mailboxes

`GET /api/v1/mailboxes`

## Request

The mailboxes this key can read, their aliases, what the key may do on each, and unread counts.

## Response `200`

Mailboxes.

    - `id` string, required
    - `address` string, email, required
    - `displayName` string, required
    - `aliases` string[], required: Aliases that deliver into this mailbox. Replies may be sent from an alias.
    - `source` 'owner' | 'admin' | 'grant', required: How the key reaches it: the key user's own mailbox, as a workspace admin, or shared with them.
    - `access` object, required
      - `read` boolean, required
      - `send` boolean, required
      - `manage` boolean, required: Move, star, label (needed for most PATCH fields).
    - `unread` integer, required: Unread conversations in the inbox.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing, invalid or revoked API key.
- `403`: The key lacks the scope (`missing_scope`) or the access (`forbidden`).
- `404`: Not found — or not reachable with this key.
- `429`: Too many requests.
