# Check a domain's DNS now

`POST /api/v1/domains/{id}/verify`

## Request

Checks the domain's live DNS now, like Verify now in the app, asking its own nameservers first, and answers with its updated status. A check from the last 10 seconds is answered from its result (`checked: false`). Unverified domains are also re-checked on a schedule; the `domain.verified` webhook tells you when one goes live.

## Other responses
