# POST /v1/decisions

`POST /v1/decisions`

## Request

- The document declares no server URL.
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `x-api-key`

OpenAI-compatible text decisions over SIE decision models. Answers 1 to 200 ordered predicate, choice, or score questions; choices preserve string and boolean values. Supports text or text-only messages. Images, tools, cache options, and backend fields are rejected. Oversized model inputs are refused rather than truncated.

## Request body

- DecisionRequest: OpenAI-compatible text decisions. Unsupported fields are rejected.
  - `input` unknown, required
  - `model` string, required: SIE decision model id, e.g. `fastino/GLiNER2.5-Decide`.
  - `questions` unknown[], required: Ordered predicate, choice, or score questions with required instructions and optional name. Choices contain 2 to 255 unique string/boolean values; score levels contain 1 to 10 labels. Both accept optional descriptions.

  - `safety_identifier` string, nullable: Caller-provided identifier; never used as authenticated identity.

## Response `200`

Answers in question order

- DecisionResponse: Ordered OpenAI-style answers retaining boolean/string choice identities.
  - `answers` unknown[], required: One predicate, choice, score, or refusal answer per question. Names are echoed, including null for unnamed questions and repeated names.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid or unsupported input
- `401`: Missing or invalid bearer token
- `404`: Model not found
- `413`: Request body too large
- `500`: Invalid model result; gateway auth enabled but no tokens configured
- `502`: Model load failed
- `503`: Model loading or capacity exhausted; Retry-After at most 60 seconds
