# Delete a playlist

`DELETE /stacks/{public_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.supercut.ai/v1`
- URL: `https://api.supercut.ai/v1/stacks/{public_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Works with: Personal token

Deletes a playlist. The recordings in it are kept; only the playlist is removed. This cannot be undone. Requires owner or admin access to the playlist. Note: Stacks have been renamed to Playlists across Supercut. The endpoint paths and payloads remain \`stacks\` for backwards compatibility.
