# Get viewership analytics for a recording

`GET /recordings/{public_id}/analytics`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.supercut.ai/v1`
- URL: `https://api.supercut.ai/v1/recordings/{public_id}/analytics`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Works with: Personal token Workspace token

Returns top-line viewership metrics: visit counts (total and unique), play counts (total and unique), and the overall engagement rate (average percent of the video watched). Requires access to the recording. Stats are aggregated across all versions. Optional \`start\`/\`end\` bound the reporting window; both default to all time.
