# Link a notification provider to a monitor

`POST /api/monitors/{id}/notifications`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://demo.supercheck.dev`
- URL: `https://demo.supercheck.dev/api/monitors/{id}/notifications`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Attach a notification provider to a monitor. The provider must belong to the same project as the monitor.

## Request body

## Response `201`

Notification link created

  - `id` string, uuid
  - `monitorId` string, uuid
  - `notificationProviderId` string, uuid

## Other responses

- `400`: Missing notification provider ID
- `401`: Authentication required or token invalid
- `403`: Insufficient permissions
- `404`: Monitor or provider not found
- `409`: Monitor already linked to this provider
- `500`: Internal server error
