# Update a label

`PATCH /labels/{labelId}`

## Request

Updates a conversation label.

## Path parameters

- `labelId` string, required

## Request body

- PAUpdateConversationLabelDTO
  - `name` string, required: The updated name of the label
  - `color` string, required: The updated hex color of the label
  - `folder_id` string, nullable: The ID of the folder to move the label into

## Response `200`

OK

  - `id` string, required: The ID of the label
  - `name` string, required: The name of the label
  - `color` string, required: The hex color of the label
  - `folder_id` string, nullable: The ID of the folder containing the label
  - `url` string: The URL of the label resource
