# Areas statistically similar to this one

`GET /api/v1/postal-codes/{postalCode}/similar`

## Request

  - HTTP bearer

Nearest neighbours by statistical profile, not by distance on the map, each with a `similarity` score. Free.

- `year` integer
- `k` integer

## Response `200`

Neighbours, most similar first.

- SimilarAreas
  - `postalCode` string, required
  - `year` integer, required
  - `neighbors` SimilarArea[], required
    - `postalCode` string, required
    - `name` string, required
    - `similarity` number, double, required: Higher is more similar.

## Other responses

- `400`: A parameter was missing, malformed, or outside what this operation accepts. The message names the parameter.
- `404`: No such place, or no data for it. Also what a non-numeric `year` produces, because query-parameter conversion fails before the operation runs.
