# Trial Status

`GET /trial/status/{video_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.sumvid.app` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.sumvid.app/trial/status/{video_id}`
- Auth: none declared

Latest trial-job status for a video, keyed by video id (not job id):
the result is public data (it becomes a /v page), so there's no opaque
token to protect, and the frontend never has to hold trial state.

The `user_id = TRIAL_USER_ID` filter happens in SQL
(get_latest_job_by_video_for_user), not in Python, so this endpoint is
structurally incapable of reflecting any authenticated user's job for
the same video id.

## Path parameters

- `video_id` string, required

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- TrialStatusResponse
  - `status` string, required
  - `error_code` string, nullable
  - `max_seconds` integer, nullable

## Other responses

- `422`: Validation Error
