# Delete a role

`DELETE /v0.1/merchants/{merchant_code}/roles/{role_id}`

Delete a custom role.

## Path parameters

- `merchant_code` string, required
- `role_id` string, required

## Response `200`

Returns an empty response if the role deletion succeeded.

## Other responses

- `400` — Invalid request.
- `404` — Merchant not found.
