# Change the title or description of a client list

`PATCH /resources/api/agent/clientLists`

Changes `title` and `desc` of a list; the fields you omit keep their value. Lists that Sumsub maintains cannot be changed.

## Request body

- PatchClientListDto
  - `desc` string — New description. Omit it to keep the current one.
  - `id` string, required
  - `title` string — New display title. Omit it to keep the current one.

- ClientListDto — A named set of keys that workflow conditions and transaction monitoring rules match against.
  - `createdAt` string, date-time — When the list was created.
  - `desc` string — Free-text description of the list.
  - `entryType` string — Kind of key the list holds.
  - `id` string
  - `name` string — Name that rules reference the list by, as `clientLists.<name>`.
  - `title` string — Display title of the list.
  - `type` string — Purpose of the list: `custom`, `blocklist`, `whitelist`, or `system` for lists that Sumsub maintains.
