# Replace the print areas of a photo mockup

`PUT /api/v1/sudoai/2d-mockups/{mockup_id}/print-areas`

Replaces a ready photo mockup's printable areas. Each area must be a convex four-point shape within the source image.

## Path parameters

- `mockup_id` string, required: Id of the photo mockup whose print areas are replaced.

## Request body

- PhotoMockupPrintAreasUpdate: Replace a mockup's printable areas.
  - `print_areas` PhotoMockupPrintAreaInput[], required: Up to eight printable areas, saved row by row from the top and left to right inside each row, whatever the array order. An empty array saves the mockup without bounded placement zones.
    - `points` array[], required: Four [x, y] points in image coordinates.
      - number[]
    - `name` string, nullable: Optional print-area label, e.g. "Front" or "Back".

  - `data` PhotoMockupPrintAreasUpdateData, required
    - `mockup_id` string, required: Unique identifier of the mockup whose print areas were replaced.
    - `print_areas` PhotoMockupPrintArea[]: The mockup's printable areas after the replacement, in the order they were saved.
      - `print_area_id` string, required: Unique identifier for the print area.
      - `points` array[], nullable: The area's four [x, y] corner points in source image pixels.
        - number[]
      - `name` string, nullable: Label for the print area, such as 'Front'.
      - `sort_order` integer: Position of this print area in the mockup's own order, starting at 0.
  - `success` true: Always true on a successful response.
