# Disconnect audience source

`DELETE /v1/communities/{communityId}/sources/{sourceId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.subo.ai`
- URL: `https://api.subo.ai/v1/communities/{communityId}/sources/{sourceId}`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Disconnect an audience source (soft: the row and its verified memberships remain for reconnection). Admin role required. The Discord source cannot be disconnected here — it is managed by installing or removing the bot.

## Response `200`

Source disconnected

## Other responses

- `400`: The Discord source cannot be disconnected via the API
- `401`: Invalid or missing API key
- `403`: Forbidden — the key or user lacks permission for this resource or operation
- `404`: Resource not found
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded — wait `retry_after` seconds before retrying. The same value appears in the `Retry-After` header.
