# Delete project

`DELETE /v1/communities/{communityId}/projects/{projectId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.subo.ai`
- URL: `https://api.subo.ai/v1/communities/{communityId}/projects/{projectId}`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Permanently delete a project and all responses. Irreversible. Only permitted when status is `inactive`.

## Path parameters

- `communityId` string, required
- `projectId` string, required

## Response `200`

Deleted

## Other responses

- `401`: Invalid or missing API key
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Resource not found
- `409`: Project must be inactive before deletion
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded — wait `retry_after` seconds before retrying. The same value appears in the `Retry-After` header.
