# Update the user's pending OOO (currently active or scheduled)

`PATCH /v2/users/{user_id}/ooo`

## Request

Only fields present in the request body are changed. To clear
``end_date``, send ``"end_date": null`` explicitly.

  - `backup_user_id` string, nullable: The user covering this OOO.
  - `start_date` string, date, nullable: The start date of OOO.
  - `end_date` string, date, nullable: Planned last day of coverage.
