# Email a Verification Code

`POST /v2/register-temp/send-code`

## Request

Sends a one-time code to the work email so it can be verified before registration.
Repeat requests within the resend window succeed without sending another email —
the previously delivered code remains valid, so the flow can always proceed to
code entry. (A recent code whose delivery is still in flight is waited on, and
replaced if that delivery failed.) The work-email constraint is enforced by the
``WorkEmail`` field type.
