# Create a Pronunciation

`POST /v2/pronunciations`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.stuut.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.stuut.ai/v2/pronunciations`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Add a term (grapheme) and its spoken replacement (phoneme).

## Request body

- CreatePronunciationRequest: Request body for creating a pronunciation.
  - `grapheme` string, required: The term as written/spelled (e.g. a company or person name) that the agent should respell.
  - `phoneme` string, required: The spoken form fed to TTS in place of the grapheme (e.g. 'shloom-ber-zhay').

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- PronunciationResponse: A pronunciation entry. Only ALIAS (plain respelling) is exposed today.
  - `created_at` string, date-time, required
  - `modified_at` string, date-time, nullable, required
  - `id` string, required
  - `grapheme` string, required: The term as written/spelled (e.g. a company or person name) that the agent should respell.
  - `phoneme` string, required: The spoken form fed to TTS in place of the grapheme (e.g. 'shloom-ber-zhay').
  - `object` string, required: String representing the object's type. Objects of the same type share the same value.
