# Unassign Phone Number from Business Unit

`DELETE /v2/phone-numbers/{phone_number_id}/business-units/{business_unit_id}`

## Request

Remove the number from the business unit. If it was that BU's default the BU is left with no
default (the resolver falls back to the org default) — set a new BU default explicitly if wanted.
