# Get Payment Finding

`GET /v2/payments/{payment_id}/finding`

Get Payment Investigation Finding

The newest finding the Payment Investigator wrote for the payment; the
finding is null when it has not investigated it, or when the
organization's users are not yet shown findings.

## Path parameters

- `payment_id` string, required

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- PaymentFindingResponse: The newest finding for a payment; ``finding`` is null when it has not been investigated.
  - `finding` PaymentFinding, required: What the Payment Investigator found for a blocked payment, written for a person.
    - `id` string, required
    - `summary` string, required: Markdown: a bold one-sentence verdict, a short evidence paragraph and a **Suggested actions** list. Each record it relies on is a link whose target is the bare record id, for example `[GPSI00226762](inv_…)`; route on the id prefix.
    - `created_at` string, date-time, required
