# Remove a Member

`DELETE /v2/members/{member_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.stuut.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.stuut.ai/v2/members/{member_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Revokes the member's access to the organization; their partners and tasks
can be reassigned. The org's last active member who can assign roles
cannot be removed. The membership row stays, disabled, as the access
record.

## Path parameters

- `member_id` string, required

## Query parameters

- `reassign_to` string, nullable: User to reassign the member's partners and tasks to.

## Response `204`

- `404`: Not Found
- `409`: Conflict
- `422`: Validation Error
