# Search Invoices By Numbers

`POST /v2/invoices/search/numbers`

Search Invoices by Numbers

Look up many invoices at once by exact invoice number, ignoring case. Built for
pasted lists of invoice numbers, so it does no fuzzy matching and applies no
status filter; numbers that match nothing come back in `missing`.

Note:
`Amounts are in standard units (e.g., 10.25 for $10.25 USD)`

## Request body

- InvoiceNumberSearchRequest: Request body for looking up many invoices by exact number.
  - `numbers` string[], required: Invoice numbers to match exactly, ignoring case and surrounding whitespace.

Successful Response

- InvoiceNumberSearchResponse: Invoices whose number matched one of the requested numbers.
  - `data` InvoiceSummary[], required: Matching invoices in the order their numbers were requested. A number shared by several invoices returns all of them.
